Business school is located in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi province. It has more than 50 full-time and part-time teachers and a teaching and scientific research team with professional title, age and reasonable knowledge structure. Among them, there are 13 doctors, 30 masters, 4 professors, 15 associate professors, 2 certified public accountants and senior accountants, 2 doctoral tutors and 12 master's tutors; 1 "Changjiang Scholar" distinguished professor of the ministry of education, 1 guidance teacher of the national hundred excellent doctoral theses, 2 new century talents of the Ministry of Education, 1 expert with the State Council special allowance, 1 candidate selected for National Talents Project, 1 candidate selected for Jiangxi Talents Project, 2 subject leaders of Jiangxi Province, 1 outstanding Baosteel teacher, 1 Qingjiang scholar. At present, relying on the academic resource platforms of "innovation and entrepreneurship and regional industry collaborative development research center", as well as "Jiangxi nonferrous metal industry development research center" and "Jiangxi Science and Technology Department’s Jiangxi-Guangdong-Fujian-Hunan border regional economic cooperation soft science research base", the school has obtained a series of important research results. In the past three years, it has undertaken more than 40 national, provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, published more than 100 core academic papers on CSSCI, SCI, SSCI and national Chinese core journals, and released more than 20 teaching materials and monographs.
The school has five second-level master's degree authorization stations of national economics, finance, industrial economics, business administration (MBA) and engineering management (MEM), and six undergraduate majors (direction) of logistics management, financial management, human resource management, software engineering (accounting), software engineering (e-commerce), software engineering (finance) and one Sino-foreign cooperative school major (accounting). It has computer center, modern logistics experiment center, human resource management laboratory, accounting simulation, enterprise simulation operation, accounting computerization, room service and catering, ERP and other laboratories. It has established 14 practice teaching bases with Yonyou company, Jingbang Software, Shenzhen Gtafe, Jiangxi Yinhe Securities, Pacific Insurance Company, Shanghai Deppon Logistics, Jingdong Logistics, Ruiyi International Hotel, etc.
In order to cultivate practical talents of modern economic management, it actively promotes school-enterprise cooperation to realize the docking and integration of specialty setting and industrial demand, curriculum content and professional standards, teaching process and production process. The school and Yonyou company set up Yonyou accounting informationization experimental class to jointly cultivate software engineering (accounting) talents; it cooperates with Shenzhen Gtafe to cultivate logistics management and software engineering (finance) talents. It organizes and guides students to participate in professional qualification certification examinations such as logistics manager, human resource manager, accounting practice qualification, bank practice qualification, securities practice qualification and financial planner, and actively promotes the "double-certificate" system of academic certificate and professional qualification certificate. It encourages and guides students to actively participate in skills competitions in various disciplines such as English, logistics, accounting skills, securities, e-commerce, tour guides, entrepreneurship, etc., in the past two years, it won 18 first prizes, 67 second prizes and more than 200 third prizes in various provincial competitions, and 9 teachers have been awarded the title of excellent instructor in discipline and skill competitions, it promotes teaching and learning through competitions, thus improving students' practical ability.
The quality of personnel training in the school has been improved steadily. In the past two years, more than 70 students have been admitted to 985 or 211 key universities as master degree candidates, such as Peking University, Hunan University, Wuhan University of Technology, Central South University of Finance and Economics, and East China Normal University, more than 30 students have been admitted as civil servants, and the employment rate of graduates is more than 95% every year.
